I am working on a state report on Tennessee and I was wondering what the temperatures were in the summer and winter. Hope you can answer!

i live in the mts of middle eastern tenness and the winters are short and not too cold.our coldest month is in december and our warmest month is usually in july..we are in a big drought here now.average in the winter around 28-32 degrees and in the summer its 80-90 degrees here on the cumberland plateau.

East TN where I live the average is probably 30's for the high in the winter and 80's for the highs in summer!

The temperatures vary across the state. You could go to weather.com or wunderground.com and look at the tables for Knoxville, Nashville, and Memphis to get an idea of how much, but the US weather bureau's site would probably look more scholarly as a reference. Find them at www.nws.noaa.gov/,
