Depends on how large your toungh is:
Large - 250 to 300 licks
Medium - 300 to 400 licks
small - 400 to 550 licks

I think that will be the one question that will never be answered!!! I can't make it without biting! But then again I am a fat guy that doesn't have the will power to make it to the center without biting, I gotta get to the good stuff, I guess that is why I always pass by the salad bar and go straight to the mac and cheese!
