I can't really put what mama Petrelli's power is. Also, I am interested to know what power Hiro's father has, and what power Simone's father has. Linderman, mama Petrelli, Simone's father, and Hiro's father have some sort of connections together. But not enough details were given for any solid explanation. Will have to wait for 2nd season. LONG summer coming. Sucks ;)

I agree with Becci about the premonition in dreams power as we have seen in season 1 of Heroes. He has dreams of himself flying and his brother Nathan flying or floating over his car with his wife in it just before the crash and New York blowing up. But we dont know if he get's this power from his Mother or Simone's Dad. So we will have to find out in the last episode of Heroes, How to Stop an Exploding Man or wait for season 2.

She is always very calm and assertive, nothing rattles her or catches her off guard. I think that she is able to read thoughts and locate people. She knows things because she can tap into their mind, she can then "see" what they are thinking and offer a very well thought out responce that cuts off the argument. It is a much more advanced form of the cops ability-he just doesn't see what he can really do with that talent-she has had time to polish her skills. And she would be a big asset to Linderman with that skill. I think the stealing in the pilot was a result of being bored-a little game to keep her boys by her side. She is going to be megga ticked off to find that Nathan has saved his brother and NY. Momma Petrelli is always watching you! And Molly too I bet ;-)

I think her power may be the visions Peter has when he's unconscious. All of his other powers have come from another Hero he was exposed to, but the visions. That would explain how she knows so much. Also, wouldn't it be neat if Mama Petrelli is the "monster" that Molly is so afraid of? The visions would explain how she knows where Molly is.

Meh, if her power was brainwashing or persuasion, why couldn't she persuade Peter and Claire half of the time?
As far as precognition, to me, that's too similar to Hero's power. He can travel into the future, hence, finding out what will happen in the future.
I'll have to wait until Season 1 comes out. Then, I will watch more closely as to potential powers. : )

Oooh sounds plausable but I don't think so, although, I can't put my finger on what her power is exactly. I don't know why Nathan listen's to her, but remember Claire did not. In fact she jumped out the window, Nathan eventually came to the right side to help save the world. Which was against his mothers wishes.

I believe her power is precognition. Why? It explains how the 1st Generation (Mother, Father, Linderman, etc) knew about the explosion to begin with. It's why she was so certain it couldn't be stopped. It also expalins who Peter absorbed that power from.

Nope I don't think so. Eden already had that power and so far (with the exception of our empath Peter) noone has had the same abilities.
She IS persuasive, but that is not her ability.

If this were the case, in the first episode, she could have gotten out of the shoplifting arrest, probably before the police were called.
I keep thinking about it and knowing its a clue, but can't figure it out.

I go with Premonition. She knew in advance that Linderman was dead and she always talks like she knows what is going to happen before it does.
