When I was a kid, I watched John Carpenters' The Thing and that movie scared the beejesus out of me. There is a scene in the film where this dogs fasce splits open and out come these numerous whipping tendrils. I stayed away from my dog for days because of that and could not sleep for fear of something attacking me. Now, its one of my favorite movies! As an adult though, I saw the Exorcist for the first time and truely was scared.

The Ring (Japanese version).
I remembered being in a daze after watching it.
Being near a tv and even the computer monitor freaked me out.
I was scared shitless for almost a month.
A few months later, my colleagues obtained a copy of it and wanted to play it on their computer. Just listening to the opening music (I didn't even look at the computer screen) freaked me so badly that I had to leave the room.
It's so good that I'd never wanna watch it again.

A movie about tarantulas taking over a whole town--it had William Shatner in it,i think....will never watch it again in my life!
And "The Thing" with Kurt Russell.....about an alien on a station in Antarctica or something...takes over the people....scared the crap out of me!

I remember getting physically sick watching The Exorcist because it seemed like it could really be true. And I was not a kid. Maybe in my 20's. I NEVER watch it when it's on TV. Just the name gives me the creeps.

The Ring and 28 Days Later. I still have nightmares and probably won't be able to see 28 weeks later either...

the unique "Halloween" with Jamie Lee Curtis is truthfully terrifying and actually no longer gross in any respect. The scene the place you think of she's killed him in the mattress room and in the historic past you spot him sit down up will run chills down your backbone. there is truly no gore in it the two, only an exceedingly frightening adventure. have confidence me!
