I believe in ghost.
When my cousin "Kelly" was 4 she came down stairs and told her parents she had been playing with Grandma "Helen". Helen had passed away 2 years before Kelly was born. Kelly was able to point out family members in old pictures she had never viewed because she said Helen told her who they were.
For a long time Kelly would talk with Helen. Now (nearly 20 years later) weird things still happen in that house, and we all just accept that it is Grandma Helen. (My aunt and Uncle moved into the house after Helen passed away).
We hear people walking upstairs when no one is there. Doors open, electronics turn on. Things disappear and reappear. Most of us have actually SEEN Helen. It's scary, but it has become pretty normal in that house.
Check out TAPS (the guys who are on the SCI-FI show GHOST HUNTERS) they have message board where you can talk about your experiences. They also have articles to read that can help you understand what is going on in your home.
If you are really concerned their may be a Ghost Hunting group in your area you can contact.
I wouldn't be too scared. Most ghosts don't want to harm anyone.

I believe in them. My great-grandmother's house was haunted, and there were no shortage of freaky events going on in that house. I've heard some stories from my mother, but there are other people in my family that refuse to even speak of the house.
A psychic told of a spirit living there, of a police man. Someone in my family (decades and decades ago) was in an accident with the police man who was driving drunk and the policeman died. There is a little girl that lives in the attic, her picture was captured once.
After my great-grandmother died, the house was sold at auction. A trucking company bought it and used it as there office. Within 3 days of moving in, the secretary quit because the windows and doors open and shut. Several more employees quit and the house was sold again. The house has been bought and sold several times over the years because of these events. The local paper even did an article on this house and the events that happen in it.
My grandfather thought all of this was pretty hokey until one day he died at the hospital, but they were able to get him back. He believed in the afterlife from that moment on, and became scared of that house.

I definitly think that there's some type of other realm out there and that some people have the unique gift of being able to connect with it while others remain completely oblivious to it.
If you think about it, the laws of physics say that energy cannot be created or destroyed...only transfered from one thing to another so it makes sense that when someone dies...the energy that kept them alive (a "soul" if you will) has to go SOMEWHERE...why not here on earth, in a way that we cannot see?
I don't think that ghosts are something to be fearful of...Try not to think about these things and they'll go away.

The house that I grew was haunted. You could hear things moving and footsteps. We could even see a little boy and a little girl walking around. The girl would stand in my doorway watching me. They were not mean just watchful and curious.

I have believed in them since i was like 9 years old cuz i had so many experiences with those things that have gotten me in trouble. My mom wanted to get me help cuz she didn't believe me until she saw one with her own two eyes in my bedroom. On day when my stepsister took off to her mothers house i slept in her bed(we shared a room) and since always played with quija boards i didn't know she hide it under her mattres and of course i slept on top of it without knowing. Eversince then i seen the worse things i wish nobody has never what i have seen it like they are around me since that quija board is a portal to the dead.its messed up ****.
