Close call, but I would have to take Santana and Damon. It would be a mistake not to side with Santana on any trade.

I think having Oswalt and Jones is better. Damon is in some kinda funk and has been vocal about other players, when he is the lead off guy that should the the catalyts for that offense and he hasnt been this year so far. Johan has lost 2 home starts, I think, and has lost twice to Faust Carmona of the Indians, last year was the Twins chance, they are not as good as they were last year. Andruw Jones insnt going to get you average any more, but will put up some double and RBI is that lineup. Oswalt is a plain stud. His K's are great, his wins are adding up and the Astros are hot, and alot of experts are picking them to make the run at the Brewers, not the Cubs !

I have Damon on my team and he is letting me down BIG TIME! I will keep him because the Yankees will need a spark other than A-Rod and i think Damon will become consistant. Santana is the best in the game. Andrew is getting older and the Braves are getting younger. Oswalt is great, but he's no Santana down the stretch. Johan got better as the year went on. Its too early to make a blockbuster deal.

I think this year Santana and Oswalt could be a wash, with Santana not pitching as well, nor getting as much run support. That leaves Jones for injury prone Damon and as with most trades who ever gets the best player wins. I would rather have Jones myself.

Right now, It's Santana Damon side. But later on in the season, if Jones wakes up and starts hitting, then the Oswalt Jones side is better.

Thats a tough call. The pitcher trade would be a fair swap, I doubt you would lose much their. Damon will provide you with a better average over the course of a season, however, RBI's and power numbers would favor Jones. It depends on what is worth more points in your league. Power or average.
