Hey, a silly invention. What about luminous slippers so that you can find them in the dark. They could also have little torches built in the end so that you can see where you are going without turning the main house lights on. The switch to make them work can be your own weight. What stupid idea do you have?

It's not a stupid idea, it's a good idea. I would wear them, I'm pregnant and up about 5 times a night going to the loo, I go in the dark so as not to wake my hubby, but my toes have been stubbed so many times, the swearing wakes him up anyway!!!

I just read about this one... I think Croc makes these slippers with a hidden compartment in the heel where you can hide keys and money.
But when you take them off, leave them on the beach and go for a swim, wouldn't others be able to take them still? Go figure.

Slippers with "headlights" are already on the market.
I wear slippers with firm arch supports, so I'd not be a customer. It is not a bad idea though.

I though of a mail box with a light that comes on when open the door but a couple days later I saw one.

I think that's a fine idea. I would invent a remote control with a beeping device which is activated by shouting "Where the Eff is the Effing remote!?"

In the winter I sleep with my slippers on...I know where they are.....at the bottom of the the bed in the sheets.......lights would just keep me awake, but I'm sure someone would buy them.

Actually, something like this already exists. I saw them in a magazine at a doctor's office. Like the old lady magazines elderly people get. Carol Wright or something.

Hey I would wear them, I am constantly tripping over a dog or a cat at night so they would work out great.
