no way get yourself a new one and just wear the one you have on a necklace or something until you do. You really dont' want something that everyitme you look at is going to remind you of his ex do you? That's something that should be yours and yours alone.

Take the ring that doesn't fit to a jeweler. He/she can resize it a make it bigger or smaller so it will fit properly. . Its a whole lot cheaper then buying a new one. They can even re engrave it, if necessary.
If you bring in the other ring they may pay you for it and that will cover the cost of the work on your ring.
This way you can continue to wear the ring your husband gave you

You're not being silly. Why does he still have that ring?....the only thing I kept from my previous marriage was the children. Toss the old ring and it's bad vibes, and get a nice inexpensive silver one for now. Maybe for your 10 or 15 anniversary things will be better financially and he can get you something sparkly then.
Keep the man, toss the ring :)

Eh, I would feel iffy if I had to wear my husbands ex-wifes wedding ring.
I'd rather get a temporary cheap ring from some accessories store than do that and then rather buy a proper one later.
Is it to small or is it to big? If it's to big you could have it resized.
I'm not sure how easy that is if it's to small.

I would NOT wear that thing!!!
I'm not superstitious or think it's bad karma or anything...but why on earth would you want to wear something that symbolized the love and commitment between your husband and another woman?!?! It would just be a reminder of it I'd think..
Why can't you just take your ring to a jeweler and get it resized?

Take your own ring to the jewellers and get it made a bit bigger. It's easy to do, not expensive.
I'd never wear someone else's wedding ring, especially an ex-wife's.

instead of finding money for a new ring why not take it to a jeweler to get it sized. they can enlarge it. it's tacky if you wear a wedding band from a previous marriage.

Buy a new ring! He needs to leave the past completely behind him.

NO WAY! Buy yourself a new one that is yours and yours alone. How about an anniversary ring? That`s what I do cuz mine doesn`t fit anymore either.
