How many of you have a true friend?

How many of you have a true friend. To me a true friend is someone who knows what makes you laugh or cry. A true friend is someone that invites you even though your too broke to pay your own way. A true friend will hang with you inspite of being bored with what your doing.

How many have friends like that? I sure can't seem to find them.

You people touched me today. I normally wouldn't admit that but I am touched by the honesty and saddened by the lack of wholesome friends many don't have that makes our lives feel complete. Thanks for all your inspiration. It will be truly hard to pick a best answer.

I THOUGHT I had a few of them, yet I lost them all, I came to find out the hard way that they only were good to me when it was convenient or beneficial to them. So far, I only have my parents who have NEVER flaked on me, but I would still like to come across someone in my own age range to have as a 'true friend' such as the one you speak of. At least I kind of knew what it was like. Yes, I have a few 'regular' friends and acquaintances, but long for a 'true friend.' Just to let you know, there arent many around, people have become way too selfish nowadays, even more so than usual.

I have a true best friend. We are like twin brothers in our thinking habits and we like the same type of women and have the same world view. We are of the same race and same country and we both have travelled globally separately. Our views on male/females relationships are the same. As are concepts about family & extended family. I can name so many things we are alike on and we seldom, if ever, argue. Our wealth building ideas are nearly the same as well. As is our deep love for polygamy.

hmm according to what u mentioned i must have 3 true friends:
the one i left behind when i moved in greece ( her name was christina)
and the other 2 here they my best friends!!!
but i have many other friends too ( here and in LA) who would support me in hard times and would make me laugh

i have only 2 of those kind of friends they understand me alot....they are the best....like one of them ive known her for like 7years now and she moved away but i still talk to her and go visit her and its really great how they seem to know every thing about you and you know so much about them
