No. You can't offend someone when no offense was intended. Under those circumstances, if a person is offended then it is due to them taking offense where none was given. The fault lays entirely with them, then, so it is they who have created the offense, not you. If a person is going to place themselves on public display by asking and answering questions in a public forum, then they should learn not to be so thin-skinned and be more open-minded to the responses they might receive and the questions asked.

It's okay to ask serious question, that's what Yahoo!Answers are for, helping people. Just make sure that when you asked one, use the proper words.
About your 'crazy self' if that's who you really are, great! Go ahead!^_^
But you don't have to care much what other people think. I mean, I've been here for quite a while,and I've learned that whatever question you asked, there's always people got offended. You can't please all of them.
