We no longer communicate with each other we depend on the news and they depend on ratings, so they feed us what they want us to know for the ratings, hence more money from commercials and more in their pocket!
The commentators like to incite controversy and have us believe what they themselves believe.
Example case;
Imus
They kept it up until he was fired, then proceeded for a brief moment to ignore the fact, that Hip Hop Moguls were selling sex and that was the reason the women were called ho's.
Imus fell into their trap.
But it pushed up the ratings.
