can MBA in hospital management be done through distance learning ? is it available in mumbai ? i am a MBBS graduate with 4 yrs of experience in working as a Medical Officer in a Govt hospital in Mumbai. what are the prospects.?

there are defnitely couple of colleges offering pgdm in hospital (not hospitality) management.i do not remember off hand and too lazy to search on your behalf.
if you plan to continue in the present job, will this qualification carry
any weight / improve job prospectus?
with explosion of private hospitals a new doors will open up for you.
did you happen to read "final diagnosis" by arthur hailey? this novel should give some insights.

You can apply for the PGDPM courses speacialising in pharma management.
These courses are open in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai colleges. You will have to appear for the entrance test and GD+PI sessions conducted annually for PG courses

Dont think there are any MBA courses in hospital mfmt but you can try graduation prog in hospital mgmt. better you do MBA in Mkt or any other related stream you want that will be sufficient for you.
