People are telling others on here that sperm can live inside of you for days or even weeks! Did anyone listen in school? I've read a lot of correct answers but some of them are just crazy! I can understand trying to scare the young people, but for the ones who are trying to conceive is harmful. Please someone give these people the correct answers! Thanks!

By the way, I KNOW thay it can live up to five days. I've been working in the medical field for 10 years now. And I've worked in a fertility clinic. This was for the people who are getting the WRONG information.

Sperm can live in the woman's body for several days. Only when she is fertile, though, otherwise, the vagina is so acidic it will kill the sperm. If a woman is ovulating, the "egg white" cervical mucus can keep the sperm alive for 3-4 days. That is the correct answer. According to my doctor anyway. And I think she would know.

Actually, if you did your research, you would find that people aren't lying to you. Sperm can live in a woman's body for up to 5 days. The maximum is usually five days, and only if you have optimal cervical mucus, which is eggwhite or watery. Sperm last longer in that fluid, which peaks shortly before ovulation. If you have recently menstruated, or are due to again soon, sperm probably won't last more than a day or two, if they make it past the hostile cervial fluid you have the rest of the month.

I agree that this happens. and that i do it each and every so often. yet there is usually a grain of certainty to it. enable's settle for it, christians are everywhere in the map in terms of ways they harmonize their non secular perspectives with actual commentary and the 'accuracy' of the bible. case in point some say the story of the flood is an allegory and not meant to be taken actually jointly as others take it so actually that they contend it did no longer rain till the fllod. on the different hand, Christians, willfully misinterpet the assumption of evolution regardless of being corrected on it irepeatedly. No biologist has ever claimed that guy more advantageous from monkeys or that a monkey abruptly gave start to a human or that a fish gave start to a chook. yet I see this fake representation on right here each and all of the time and oftern from an identical guy or woman regardless of if their blunders has been talked approximately to them.

I think most people just want to hear someone else opinion about a question, not necessarily mean they take someone else opinion to heart. I know most book s i read regarding sperm and ovulation, stated sperm can live up to 5 days and some book , most books also tell you that most women ovulate 2weeks after their period. when in fact i know that ovulation can take place anytime even during your period. so it helps to get others people opinion, does not mean that everyone is correct. some of us would just like to get other people point -of-view on the subject at hand.

Wow, I've never seen someone say its lives for weekS. I've seen the standard "lives up to five days inside a woman" but never weeks. Then again, there are a lot of incorrect answers on here. Take everything you see here with a grain of salt.

sperm can live up to 4-5 days in your body, contrary to anything else you may have heard or read. The maximum is usually five days, and only if you have optimal cervical mucus

As for "wrong answers" alot of the answers in this web based community are actually opinions and shouldn't be viewed as "wrong"

I don't understand how people can get on here and think they know what they are talking about. Do your research first. Obviously you weren't paying attention in school!!!!!
