I'm presently growing lemon balm in my garden- and it's thriving! I'm thinking of transplanting some to a pot. And it does have a wonderful scent.

There's not really a plant, but cinnamon sticks placed in holders genereally release a wonderful scent, and my aunt keeps her bug-be-gone plant in her house, whatever that is, and it smells nice. You might even want to try some really lightly scented incense, and burn it with the windows open to leave a lighter scent than with the windows closed.
