What's the best way to seal a leaky transmission? My transmission runs fine but leaks and I have to refill every 3 weeks or so. The leak is somewhere inside so the repair would be really expensive.

The car has 180,000 miles, but otherwise runs good. I'm not ever going to fix the transmission (if it goes the car goes), but I'd like to slow the leak a little if possible.

The best way it to have the transmission removed and repaired. If you're going to keep the car for awhile, it's better in the long run to have it be reliable. Otherwise, if you burn up the transmission, the repair bill will be REALLY expensive - like $1500 or more.
