What happened on Heroes season finale?

I rreally hate to spoil it for you, so go to nbc.com and watch the episode, not great quality but its how I survived between 24 and heroes! then I stopped watching 24...because heroes is more interesting...

Well, Nathan flew Peter up to the sky and Peter exploded in the sky. Nathan's whereabout will be answered in season 2. Nathan might not have died. Finale was good, but some details were questionable. It will be a LONG summer ;)

I don't see why people just assume Nathan died.

He could have dropped Peter in space and kept flying.

Improbable, yes, but I've just seen too many improbable explanations as to why some character lived over the years.

It was Nathan - in a final act of sacrifice, to keep Claire from having to kill Peter (he was getting ready to explode), Nathan took off with Peter so he would explode in the air; since Peter had Claire's regenerative abilities, he would live, but sadly, Nathan didn't. Which I really hated, because I was just getting to like him. FYI - Hiro stabbed Sylar and everyone thought he was dead, but at the end you see a blood smear from where he lay to a manhole cover, so it's safe to say he escaped.

There are just people you are not sure if they are dead or not.

Peter's brother flew him up into space and they exploded together-kaboom not the big"O". Silar was stabbed by Hiro. Linderman had brain freeze. But you never really know who is dead..

Mohinder starts off the show talking about the friends you make along the way.

Next thing you know Molly is talking to Matt while Benntt and Mohinder are pointing guns and Matt is saying noone is going to hurt Molly

Meanwhile DL is dying of a gunshot as Linderman is already dead from having his brain ripped out and Nikki is merging with Jessica as DL is telling her that she was always the strong one. Security is on its way in and Nikki is telling DL he has to get them out through the walls. He is not sure he can but he will try.

Hiro is being told by his father that he is ready to take on Sylar but that he must remember all he has learned as his opportunity will only come once so he cannot be distracted.

Molly needs more blood to build up her antibodies. The discussion is now where is the boogeyman, Sylar, and how does she find people. She tells them to get her a map and she will show them. She says she can find anyone but she does not look for one person because he is more evil than the Boogeyman and he can sense when she is looking for him.

Claire and Peter call Bennett and tell him that Ted is dead and Sylar has his power now. Bennett tells Claire to put Peter on the phone and tells Peter that he is now the only chance they have to stop Sylar. He tells him to hang on to Clair and keep her safe as well.

Molly takes a pin and with her power shows the guys that Sylar is at Isaac's loft.

At Isaac's loft, Sylar is painting many pictures using his powers to figure out that he will have a big show down with Peter the other exploding man when Ando come in with his sword and Sylar stops him and suspends him in mid air as he is about to torture him for the location of Peter. Hiro pops in snd picks up Ando's sword. Sylar dares Hiro to stop time and kill him before he has a chance to kill Ando. In a blink, Hiro gets near Ando and takes him away. They wind up in Japan where Hiro drops Ando off at work and gives him the godsend kitana sword to prove he would be back but he could not have Ando with him and it is not the sword that matters but the man. Ando tells Hiro he has never looked so fierce before. Hiro is pleased to hear that.

Nikki leaves DL next to the elevator as she must go alone to rescue Micah from Candice.

Meanwhile, Peter has taken Claire to Nathan who she does not trust. She tell Peter Nathan will betray him. Peter reads her mind to learn this. Peter says he needs his brother, he is scared. Peter tells Nathan about Sylar and that he is not the bomb Sylar is. He wants Nathan's help. Nathan thinks there is nothing he can do to prevent Peter from blowing up. Peter realizes Claire is right but she is gone. Peter runs invisible to find her but by this time Grandma has Claire. As for Peter her has an episode and suddenly he is in the street passed out.

Nikki comes in on Jessica who tells her that she killed Micah and as Nikki bend over the dead body, Jessica kicks her in the head.

Alarms are sounding all over the building as security is looking for Nikki and DL for killing Linderman. This is picked up in the lab as Bennett, Matt and Mohinder are thinking they have to get Molly some where else in case Sylar comes there because Molly can sense he is getting closer.

Nathan, his mother and Claire are heading to a helicopter from his campaign building to get out of town before the explosion. Bennett calls for Claire who gives the phone to her Grandmother who tells Bennett they are getting her out of town. He says he is her father. The Grandmother tells him that we are the people who let you take care of her. He asks to speak with Claire who he asks about Peter but she has no idea where he is. Bennett tells her to go with them out of town but when she is safe to run away.

Bennett goes to find Peter while Mohinder and Matt Pack up Molly to get away.

Nikki figures out that this is not jessica she is fighting and knocks out Candice ending the illusion and allowing her to break Micah out of his locked room. At first he is not certain it is her but then he recognizes she is the real Nikki.

Peter using Hiro's power finds himself back in time invible watching himself and Simone talking the first day he went to work for her father who is having a conversation with his mother about who will lead the people after the explosion and who is the strong one. The mother is certain it is Nathan and Devereax is certain it is Peter. The mother is ready to leave when Devereax starts talking to the invisible Peter telling him he knows that he is there. Peter wonders just how he knew. This is when Bennett finds Peter in the street and wakes him up.

At the campaign building Nathan is there for some papers. Claire wants to know just how Nathan can let Peter blow himself up. the mother points out that thanks to Cliare Peter will not die if he does. Claire points out millions will and wants to know how Nathan can all ow that. She tell him that his mother has been trying to keep them apart all these years and that she can not be trusted. He wants to keep her safe as a family. The mother says that Claire will have everything she every dreamed of. Claire says she already does and then jumps out a window and to the street where she revives and runs away.

Mohinder, Matt and Molly come across DL at the elevator where Mohinder starts to treat him since the elvator is not working. Nikki and Micah arrive and the security is comeing their way down the stair well. Molly tells Micah the elevator is not working but he tells her it is now. All of them get on the elevator moments before the guards arrive to kill them.

Down stairs Bennett and Peter have arrived and are thinking Sylar is on his way. Bennett promises Peter he will kill him if he as to and he is a good shot. Peter thanks Bennett and Bennett says call him Noah. This is when Sylar attacks and suspend beter in the air saying didn't I kill you already. Peter says it did not take. Bennet gets flung back against the wall by Sylar's powers as Peter struggles to get free.

Matt, Mohinder and Molly along with Nikki DL and Micah exit the building and Matt comes out firing but Sylar stops the bullets and then sends them back at Matt shooting him six times.

Nikki takes this as her opportunity to act and picking up a heavy post smacks Sylar around. Peter absorbs her power and starts beating him up as she goes back to DL.

Then the passion takes over and Peter's hand glow as the Ted in him takes over. He wants Bennett to shoot him but he is injured.
Claire runs in and is coming up on Bennett.

Suddenly, Hiro appears sword in hand and stabs Sylar through the heart. Peter is asking Hiro to stab him too but before Hiro can stab Peter Sylar propells Hiro toward some flag poles and Hiro disappears. Afterwars Sylers eyes begin to flash like he is havi8ng one of isaac's visions and you can see all of the visions to that point coming to picture in his eyes with the last image being him dying on the ground then his eyes go black.

This is when Peter calls out to Claire who is now taking the gun from Noah and walking toward Peter to shoot him but she doesn't want to. She asks is there any other way.

Suddenly out of the sky swoops Nathan who says there is . He tells her that he will take care of it. Peter says he shouldn't. Nathan tells him he is his brother and he will protect him. He saved the cheerleader so that they could save the world. Nathan hugs Peter and the two fly off into the night sky.

Molly and Micah and Nikki and DL embrace as Mohinder tend to Matt and his bullet holes and Noah come up near Claire and in the night sky they can see a bright light from a big explosion.

Later the ambulances arrive to take matt away as Molly tells him not to die but he says nothing on the stretcher.

On a binch Noah is telling Claire they should go home. She says but our home blew up. Noah says home is whereever the family is all together.

As the stretcher head to the ambulance you can see a long pool of Sylar's blood leading to a man hole cover with a large madagascar hissing roach on it.

In Feudal Japan 1672 Hiro suddenly lands to begin Volume Two: Generations as a bunch of warlords on horse back with swords and bows and arrow start to point them in his direction so he run toward a hill where another warlord appears with the "Godsend" standard behind him and the sword with him. Hiro says some expletive in Japanese.

Suddenly a shadow comes from no where and covers them all and up in the sky an eclipse is happening.

Mohinder is talking about not being alone and where we come from.
