On the heroes season finale.....?

is peter dead or what? i know nathan is gone but does peter survive? he would if he had miracle grow powers like claire right? the ending with hiro and kensei was awesome btw.

No Peter can't die...... I don't think Nathan is dead either.... it was cool how everyone was there together during the fight..... also best moment of the night is when Ando told Hiro he look bad a.s.s..... lol.....

Peter regenerates partly because of Ted's power, because Ted cannot be hurt by his exploding power.
Nathan probably flew into space with Peter dropped him off and fled.
The reason we have not seen him is probably because the force of the explosion threw him off course and sent him crashing.
Did anyone notice that Sylar is still alive?
Also Hiro has to probably ask Kensei something or else he would not be there like Peter went into the past and saw himself and that stuff.
Surprising though that Nathan just came in out of nowhere
Sylar will probably take this slim opportunity without Peter to blow up New York and then Peter will come in and save the day, him or Hiro after Hiro gets back from the past.

no peter is not dead cause he has the power to heal himself remember from claire . I think nathan is not dead either cause he had the power to fly and he could have gotten away before peter exploded . yes maybe hiro will learn some things from kensei . I hope they change him a little next season the way he looks I mean.

I also think both brothers survived, but for a slightly different reason. Peter wouldn't explode, because the energy radiates from him. Ted didn't die when he went nuclear, so I am assuming Peter wouldn't, either. If he was hurt, Claire's power would save him. I think Peter picked up Linderman's power at some point, and he will use that to save Nathan. I can't wait until next season. I just wish I could go back and slow it down so I could see what Sylar was seeing as he was dying (the scenes flashing before his eyes with Isaac's powers). I do think Sylar is dead, and the 'bad' one that Molly was talking about claimed the body for some reason.

People are answering this question with points learned in the future episode. The problem is, that future no longer exists, the Heroes changed it. Ando is alive, Sylar didn't kill Claire, Sylar never got to the shape shifter girl, Nikki killed her.... Everything has changed now.

I wonder if Peter can regenerate after being blown to bits. Wouldn't his body parts need to be all in one place for that to happen?? Nathan could've launched Peter and flown to safety, or he could've sacrificed himself. I like the other answer about him carrying Peter back home, that would be cool. Nathan has been a jerk, I'd like to see him have a chance at redemption.

So, the next volume/season is called Generations. The old generation of mutants , the adult gen, and the kids. Will there be some sort of war, or will they team up and fight evil? We haven't seen much of the older group, is there more than just Mrs. P?? Is Sulu one of them?? sorry, Mr. Nakamura. :) I look forward to next season to see what happens.

I am sure Peter will come back - remember when they went to the future NYC after the bomb went off and he had a scar on his face? Probably from the bomb. If he survived in that future scenario, why would he not survive this time? He will probably take some time to regenerate, but he will be back. He is too vital to the series. As for Nathan, he probably flew off JUST before the bomb went off.

As for Sylar, I don't know.... There was a blood trail, so they left it open for him to come back. Let's put it this way - the producers left it all way open so they can do just about anything.

My question is - what caused Nathan to decide to finally try and save the world?

There's a lot of interesting theories! I hadn't even thought that Nathan could "toss" Peter out and away from him and fly off quick before he exploded. But, what about this. If Peter exploded (which we obviously all saw?), don't you think the explosion would've destroyed his brain, which he needs to regenerate?

I read somewhere that they had planned on introducing new heros next season and there was speculation on some of the current Heroe's dying to make room for the new ones. However, the actors portraying the Petrelli brothers... SPOILER ALERT.... may still *wink wink* have contracts for next season. So, I don't think they're going anywhere but it'll be interesting to see how they pull that off.

I'm excited to see what's going to happen now. I think DL and Nikki will take in Molly, seeing how quickly took to clinging to Nikki. Though, it'll still be interesting to see Michah and Molly interact next season - there was a hint of that at the elevator.

I don't see how Sylar isn't dead. They should've chopped his head off (that's what I kept screaming at my television) so by the trail of the blood we saw leading to the drain system I think it's pretty clear we're going to be seeing Sylar next season.

The writers of this show are so fricken amazing and clever!

Also, get ready for a possible reality show-slash-spin off of Heros. If I remember what I read correctly, the producers and creators are in the works, talking about creating a new show (half hour I think) where the viewers will get to actually vote and pick their favorite hero's, those heros will then move on to the original show. I read this on E! a while back.

I just finished watching it and OMG what a show!!! I think probably Nathan tossed Peter...Peter blew up...regenerated...Nathan will show up carrying Peter back or something... Hiro was GREAT!!!! and Ando's alive!! Yeahhhh!!!

Did you see Nathan die?

He is flying really fast and he drops Peter over the ocean. They both could survive if Nathan flies fast enough and YES Peter regenerates.

Remember Sylar told his mother that he could see himself becoming president but in order to do that he has to kill Candice and replace Nathan who has to be alive when Sylar gets to him to get his power of flight. So odds are they will both be back.

As for Sylar I have my doubts but many say he is still alive because of perceived skidmarks on the ground.

Ask yourself, if he were alive why didn't he just blow himself up?

Peter isn't dead.

Mrs Petrelli stated that "Peter will survive because he can heal".

Molly will find him with her power, and they will make sure he has nothing lodged in his brain, and then he will heal.

Nathan is also still alive. He is a fast flyer so he will fly away right before Peter explodes.
