We are on a network at work, with the Internet. However, the Internet keeps cutting off and cutting on. Cutting off and cutting on. Cutting off and cutting on, all day. How do I fix this? It is showing connectivity at the bottom of the screen (the two little computers), but the Internet is still off and on. How do I fix this?

First check with the ISP and see if they are having problems.alot of times upgrading of the system requires them to do it server by server so the entire system isn't compromised.
If they are not having problems check you connections. ethernet cables can burn out and this will be one of the symptoms that you seem to be having.
try taking a good cable and replace each connector cable with it,leave it on a while and see if this stops the problems. if it does then that was the bad cable. and replace it.
Now if you are you using a wireless router. make sure your router is at least 4 foot away from any computer tv radio or any electrical machine. this will interfere with the signal of the router causing temporary outage.

well it could be alot of things. if you are always connected to the LAN or wireless then its probably a problem with the ISP or modem... that is assuming its a really small place. if you have an IT dept talk to them cuase you need really detailed info to really know why.
you really havent provided enough info to tell what is wrong... what kind of interent connection do you have? are there firewalls or are you running through a server that might be blocking it? if you have too many computers connecting the router might not be able to handle it or maybe set to only allow certain numbers.

The problem lies probably with your service provider.

Ensure that your service is on. Other then that check your proxy server if that s working ok.
