And they sent me a violation notice that the question had been deleted!

Something similar happened to me recently. I didn't think my question was inappropriate. I understand that violations can be appealed, but didn't think it was worth the effort at the time. Now I wish I had. I think there are alot of biased people on this venue who flag anything that doesn't comply with their political views.

I get the impression that Yahoo doesn't monitor these boards. It seems like they rely on people flagging "objectionable" or "offensive" material and deal with complaints one by one. They no doubt subscribe to the post-modern idea that everyone has the right to not be offended so they take down anything that yields a complaint. If that's the case then Yahoo is being run by a bunch of sore-***, tattle-tale ninnies.

It is a pity you have never been to Walter Reed. The hospital is not in the pathetic state of disrepair you claim. The issue with the Walter Reed campus was the barracks for recovering soldiers. This barracks had been allowed to fall into a pathetic state of disrepair, and for that the commander was relieved.

The hospital itself, is a magnificent facility.

If you had ever been there, you would know that.

BTW, the VA is a separate agency from DoD.

ADDITION: Nothing but facts here, which, apparently, the thumbs down givers do not care about.

Could be. I've recently noticed that several of my answers condemning Bush's administration also have been deleted. Makes you wonder.

I'd be willing to bet it was Bush Jr's thought police. Just my opinion.
