It's trying, at least we are hearing questions asked and seeing subpoenas issued. Bills are coming up for discussion on the floor instead of being killed in committee by one party leadership.

They're as impotent as ever...we know, and they know it. It's become a p!ssing contest to see who can win a poll. Nobody cares about what's going to happen as a consequence of their actions, and why should they? They got theirs...mostly millionaires, born into money, will inevitably retain their wealth and live in a manner where the outside world will no longer concern them.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall for an informal conversation between politicians.
