Federal regulations require that all communications that might be business-related be retained for a period of at least 7 years.
Your best bet would be to use Yahoo Mail!
Also, you need to check the company's internet policy to make sure you are allowed to non-business internet access and email. You could be fired for violating the policy.

You can't prevent it. It's part of your company's Security Policy and they have every right to "monitor" employee Email.
So, think twice before you hit Send.

that is configured on your mail exchange server, it is included under the rules that your email is configured on the exchange server. you will need the help of your email administrator for that,
