I work for a property maintenance company and i have a job in to stitch two window and don;t have a clue what it means???

please help me out:))

usually means to fix it in place temporary , not to fix it dead just stitch it in place with nails or screws or stitch it shut if the locks bust you can nail it or screw it shut to make it lock fast until a new lock or handle is fitted

could it be a typo? The only thing I can think of is something like a convertible soft top rear window, where the window's stitched into the roof.

to stitch a window you cut out the rotten wood and replace it with new ..stitch en them together .. when you do this another term for joining wood together is to form a scarf joint

Odd one that. Ihave no idea. Then only thing i have found is to do with sewing. Good luck with your quest.
