When are we going to come to grips with the fact that bush is a liberal in republican clothing. Conservatives should try their best to turn Bush into a lame duck asap.

President Bush is not a conservative and I had reservations about him from the start. He certainly is not a socialist however he has some of the old liberal "country club republican" that his father has. This is best evidenced by this horrific immigration fiasco. Just like his mis-cues on Harriet Myers as Supreme Court Justice or the Dubai Ports issue he has to be stopped when he is just plain wrong.
True conservatives have had to choose between the the lesser of two evils since Reagan. Even the Great Ron screwed up on immigration. But that was pre-9/11. The attacks that day changed everything. To paraphrase President Bush's own words, you are either for border security or you are against it. He is part of the problem now.

I'm a true conservative, far from 'self proclaimed'. Yes, Bush is liberal, far too liberal for my taste. But nevertheless, like it or not, he's still our President, and I have respect for the office that he holds.
Anything that happens from here on out will happen as the direct result of a Democratically controlled congress. What are you doing to hold those fools back?
LZ.. Name me one President that isn't. The Clinton's are in deeper than poop. When will the American people open their eyes?

Bush is NOT a liberal, you are mistaken. Bush is a neocon, and also a Fascist! He is also a global elitist/wannabe, puppet! His family has Nazi ties going all the way back to his grandfather, and he is an advocate of the evil, nightmare known as the New World Order agenda! LZ

Because they believe what they're told.
But actually Neo-conservatives aren't conservative at all - they come from the radical left -- They're Trotskyistes.
A few more perceptive Rightists understand this e.g. Pat Buchanan, Paul Craic Roberts etc
But they don't get listened too.

Because the alternative is frightening. Do you think we are foolish enough to allow the Congress to fill the 'conservative void' left in your plan's place?
