Sorry to tell you~~I think your a little mixed up! In the US we drive on the right but the drivers seat is on the left! Is that what you meant? Not to worry~~I am somewhat directionaly disfunctional too!

In both instances the drivers are coming at each other. If an accident were to occur, then the drivers r hitting each other straight on. This is why there are fatalities in acccidents. The Powers that be should have made driving the vehicle on the gutter side of the vehicle. But it's too late to change now. Or is it?

Do you mean left side or right side of the car? Or you mean left side or right side of the road?
I work as a letter carrier for the USPS so I drive a right hand drive to deliver the mail, and yes it took some getting used to at first but now it is just easy, I switch from my left hand drive stick shift car to my right hand drive automatic postal truck with no trouble, do it every day! :)
As for drive on the left side of the road as opposed the right side of the road, I can't say I have never driven anywhere that they drive on the left side of the road.

I'm going to say right, BUT Hey thats basically all I have ever driven. And they most likely are the same if you have been driving a certain way even the oposite of the other country I am sure they will say left for example.

Lefty...I think she means the left side of the car, not the left side of the road! In the states it is the left side of the car, and the right side of the road. Since the automobile was invented in the states, by Henry Ford, it would seem to me, that the correct way is the original way, which is the left side of the car, and the right side of the road. As for which is easier, I think it all depends on what you are used to. Getting used to the opposite way, is only a matter of time and practice. LZ

I think you grow up feeling more comfotable driving on the side you always have.
here in SA its the left side, so Right side driving always seems so weird to me!
Bet you would feel the same!
But given long enough I'm sure anyone could aclimatize.

Cool, left-handed anybody is the purely ones of their ideal concepts (the left part of the mind controls the right part of the body) regrettably, i'm no longer in my ideal concepts, so i'm ideal handed.
