What are your opinions on marijuana and smoking it?

What are your views on marijuana and smoking it? Do you think it should be legalized or not? If so, why or why not.

Unless politicians wish to ban smoking cigarette I'm Absolutely for legalization of marijuana. But, there should be a warning from the health ministry or some kind that smoking marijuana can be dangerous to your health just like what they do with cigarettes... :-p

I think it is much the same as alcohol or mushrooms. Fun once in a while, but anything sucks in too large of quantities. I think all drugs should be legal in certain areas, and that alcohol, marijuana, tobacco and mushrooms should all be treated the same: no legal age of use, no public use other than in bars/ drug legal zones, and sin taxed as much as the public will pay.

This will remove the teenage party syndrome as well as the mafia money for selling, and will help people understand that we all need to escape sometimes, and some people are unhealthy and always want to escape, but we can all live together anyway.

I think it should be legal. Most people who smoke pot are laid back and subject to wait for their high to go away before hopping in the car to get food for their munchies, as to where alcohol can influence someone to drive no matter their state.
If you can buy enough liquor for an army, why can't I have a joint every now and then?
Not to mention it does wonders for pain, as where Tylenol just damages your liver over time. Wouldn't you rather smoke an herb vs. popping Lortab, or other addictive pain meds?

Only in moderation. Do not become a well-known pot-head. Your life will never be normal. I do it maybe three times a year, maybe less, and I have never bought any.It has its good points and bad points, but it should not be legalized. ever. It does warp your brain. I can't remember anything from high school.

yeah it should be legalized... infact, i think it should be mandatory! Why should we prosecute people for smoking something that grows outta the dirt. These people arent harming anyone. The only harm may be to themselves, but i know people who have smoked every day for 20 years and there still healthy, intellectual, capable people. If marijuana is against the law because it 'may' be bad for you, then why isnt eating fatty burgers or smoking tabacco against the law for that matter.

I don't like it so I don't use it. Used to make me sick when I was younger. I think it's something most people will use but then grow up and move on. Actually I think it should be legalized and sold in liquor stores to responsible adults. It should be regulated just like booze.

I think its ok in small doses... when your 16 - 30. But after that you should stop smoking it... and only a couple of times a year. Its bad to make a habbit of anything

I think its kinda rude not to pass it around. Yes, it should be legalized. And if this was a democracy, it would have been well before now. But then if this was a democracy we wouldn't be in a war and Dr. Kavorkian would be allowed to practice and.....

To each his or her own. If they legalize it, it will be filled with crap like tobacco, so...maybe not. It's not a great habit, as mentioned by someone else...but it does feel nice sometimes.
