that the gay lesbion and transgender topic is under "cultures and groups" ?
shouldnt it be moved to family and relationships?
Are u in some sort of group or coulture just because your gay/lesbian/transgendered?

I agree! we should be categorised the same as the straight people why should we be put aside! and I am not referring to your quaetion as an asker but to the complete wankers that have answered this question with hotility! I think you should get back to your perfect little straight world and leave us the hell alone! we are neither a freak show or anything such like and I and most other gay people would be appalled by this suggestion and think that you should shut your mouth and look to your own backyard! Im sure your life is perfect though! I hope for your sake it is with morals like this!

it's often called the "Gay culture." Just because you're gay doesn't mean you're in a relationship or a family. You might be single and an orphan or something.

Because there are cultural and social issues that surround homosexuality. Surely the Singles & Dating section is inclusive of homosexual relationships?? I didn't see anything saying it wasn't.

I think you are so right!
Why they put us here, I don't know... but we are in the group of the GLBT-people...but I think they should make a heterosexual topic under "cultures en groups" as they also are a group...

I'm neither gay or bi. But I would agree with you. It should be considered a relationship category as well as dating.

Guess it must be because gay / lesbian / trans-gender people might face more none-relationship related problems and hostility than purely relationship issues, so perhaps it's considered to be cultural issue ?

I think it's because we're more of a cultural/scientific curiosity and they're afraid of us mixing in with their families and relations. ;)
