I agree with getaknocking but I do think there are some specific gay words... of course, they differ in the different languages that people speak...
In Flemish we call a lesbian a "pot", don't know if this is used in English as well...

Every group (if it's large enough) will develop their own subculture and will develop certain terms (jargon) that only those within the group will be aware of.

Don't know where you are but you might also find that it's geographically sensitive. Jargon understood by someone from West-coast America might not be understood by say a Brit. (The Internet is changing this - coz it' s wonderful, powerful thing)

Look at the confusing 'hankie-code' - there have been may versions of this.

I don't think that there is gay language. They are just like everybody else they either speak french,english or what ever.

hehehheee there are lots of gay languages in the philippines but one usually speak is HADA - means you want to ****.
