It's possible that if you EAT right, you won't put on any additional fat than you need to, but don't try to lose weight. Just concentrate on eating healthy foods and getting enough calories. When you diet and fat breaks down, it releases a substance into your bloodstream called ketone bodies that can be harmful to the developing fetus.
You should check w/your doctor about what exercises are safe to stay toned and in shape while you're pregnant. It will not only make for an easier delivery, but your body will bounce back much faster postpartum. Walking is ALWAYS good, and so is swimming. I don't think most doctors would recommend any kind of weight training, but it's possible to get toned without weights.
Again: don't shoot for weight LOSS, shoot for gaining only the necessary amount of weight to produce a healthy baby.

Only a few very lucky women only gain weight in their belly! I am at 22 weeks right now and have gained a lot of weight but it all seems to be mainly in my tummy and my breasts but I know there is some hiding elswehere including my big butt! Just try to eat healthy and avoid fatty foods as much as possible then you wont have to worry about gaining all that extra weight! But also keep in mind that most women lost a ton of that weight in the first few following months after giving birth so its not permenant! Thank goodness!

Nope, and it is not healthy to try. Wish it was though, with the morning sickness at first, I could have slimmed down to a beautiful goddess. Your breasts, your hips, your thighs, your butt are all designed to gain weight to help give you energy for the baby and breastfeeding. Accept it and try to stay away from the Ben and Jerry's.
