Don't know about evil but it certainly is the route to somewhere not so good. I've known 3 people in my life who came into a lot of money - and it changed them ALL completely - for the worse. Some became "better than you" & others extremely mean, thinking that people were after their dosh.
My husband & myself are earning about 25% of what we were 10 years ago - and never been happier!! We get by & recognise the true value of things in life - the things that money can't buy. It's been an enriching process although hard at times. Every cloud truely does have a silver lining.
Friend of ours work extremely long hours to "maintain their lifestyle" which from where we're sitting, is a poor quality of life. Sure enough, they've got the big house (+ big mortgage) but they're never there to enjoy it. They have a lavish holiday for 2 weeks every year - TWO WEEKS!! Is it worth it for the other 50?! Rather be where I am & enjoy every day.

What can you do with no money? Money is everything and you need to either work hard allot to take some money or make some bad stuff to get allot of money.. so it's true that money is the root of all evil.

Well, I really feel that "evil" itself is a delusion, and use of the term is oversimplification from an irrational mindset...but I'll go along with this, and presume the commonly accepted definition of "evil"...money is not capable of being "evil". It is an inanimate object. The root you seek, is greed in people, and greed itself, is a response to insecurity. Insecurity is humanity's primary underlying problem, from which most, if not all, other problems originate.

i don't know the root of all evil but I do know what people do for money....& it's disgusting to watch(please forgive the use of words).
I think the love of money is evil as are many other things.

no money isn't evil, GREED is evil!! Greed comes in all forms be it for money or possessions. Most wars are started because of greed but use religion as something to hid behind.
