As an ICU nurse, I'd have to say that lots of men have more to be embarrassed about!

Embarrassment is an emotion individual to the person. Some people are embarrassed by some things that others are not embarrassed by.
When it comes to medical procedures, it's good to note that the people that will be doing the test are professional and have seen it all before.
In ECG's sometimes it's necessary to expose the entire chest area. Sometimes it isn't. I would suggest talking to whomever is going to be doing the procedure. Tell them your concerns, and ask if it would be okay to keep your bra on, or to hold a shirt or something up to cover yourself during the procedure.
After four major back surgeries, I've been through so many medical examinations that baring myself doesn't really bother me anymore. However, there was a time before I was used to it that I felt very embarrassed and self-conscious. It's a natural feeling and nothing to be ashamed about.

It is the female antatomy! There is nothing embarassing about it. Think for a second..... guys have to have a finger stuck up their B***S! to have have a physical! Oh, so horrifying! The painful truth is having a steel metal object open up your uterus! Can you imagine how painful? Especially when you have endometriosis! Being a woman has it's concequences! Having the female curse is unbearable! What the hell is wrong with you?

Not at all. In fact, I'm pretty damn desensitized. Shirt off? Whatever.
