Legit Talent Agencies are everywhere in major cities. If you like in Podunk, you may have a harder time.

If you are in the NYC area, buy a copy of the publication, The Ross Reports. It lists contact information for NYC Talent Agencies. Ross Reports: Approximately $10.00-$12.00

Google Ross Reports, I think you can order a copy online.

A legitimate Talent Agency can ONLY take a 10% commission from the money earned by the client.

A Talent Manager is not held to those strict guidlines, as he or she, is in control of the career of his client.

You pretty much have to live in N.Y. or L.A. Do you? If not legit agencies are few and far between. Be careful. A newbie is ripe for the pickin.' Getting signed to a good agency is hard. They want people who they can make money with. Get some legit training. Your classmates will be repped and they can answer your questions. And most managers are full of it. If you want a SAG franchise you have to go through a lot a put up a big cash bond. To be a manager all you have to do is say you are. Go to the bookstore and find some books on the subject. Don't get robbed. Luck!

Put together a CD of your voice work, submit it along with your head shot and resume to a local talent agency. (It would be best to give them a call first to see if they are accepting submissions.)

A legit agency does not charge you money other than their commission, does not advertise, is licensed.

Try this www.miamimodels.net
Send them email or call them about your Questions. I'm trying it too for my 5-year-old daughter. Best of Luck!
