No. Actually I quite -like- math. You probably hate it because you had a poor introduction to the subject from some αsshole teacher who never liked it themselves.
I have actually heard (and came close to strangling) a 1'st grade teacher say, "OK class. Time to put the crayons away and get ready to do our maths. I know you probably don't want to and I know you probably don't like math, but we have to do it." Grrrrr...
So you didn't get a good introduction and, as a result, you didn't really learn how to do the 'basics' all that well. Then, when you got a bit further along, it got even worse because you really needed the basics to learn the more advanced stuff. So you didn't really learn the more advanced stuff either. You just barely squeeked through. And now, the further you go, the more impossible it gets. And, since it's difficult for you, it's no fun, And who wants to work on something that's no fun??
You're a typical product of the 'modern' educational system.

Because, usually, there is never any obvious links to practical applications taught in class. "Why am I learning this? I'm never going to use it!" That's what I thought until I decided to become an engineer. College would have been a lot easier and would have made more sense if I knew what the heck all this stuff was for.

I have a theory; that people hate what they fear and/or don't understand. If you can find a way to understand math, then I'm absolutely positive you won't hate it anymore (or at least, you won't hate it as much as you do now).
Try asking a math question you're having trouble with on here. Math assignments usually have similar questions, so once you understand one, you're likely to understand the others.

You dont hate math, you just dont understand it well enough to be comfortable doing it yet.
Its easy to say that you hate math when you dont understand, or are not familer with it. But if you understood it well you would see how useful it is, and you would not "hate" it so much.
p.s. I suck at math also, but I try to understand it because I need to. lol

because you know that at the other end of all that schooling is the chance to get a good job, or a dumb job.
Stick with it !
Ask for help when you need it and you WILL get it ...

Maybe because it's difficult and you can't do it and then you get bored.
