Nelly furtado- duh...lousy!
Shakira- HOT!
Beyonce- like her figure. singing, ok...
fergie- flirtatious, just ok...
gwen steffani- stylish, unique, like ALL her songs
mariah carey- love her songs, hate her style (think se's cute)
avril lavigne- ROCKS!! luv her

They all suck...seriously if this is the best you can do you need to get out of the world of pop and explore some women that can really sing. Out of all the female singers I can think of my choice would be Patty Griffin. She's writes great lyrics and belts them out with a beautiful voice. Some other favorites would have to be Missy Higgins, Neko Case, Mindy Smith, Beth Orton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Patty Smith. Check them out if you feel like expanding your horizons a little bit.

If you want me to choose from the list I would pick Mariah Carey. Soley on the fact that the others just suck. And as much as I hate to admit this I would say Carrie Underwood has a great voice. Although I don't care for the message her song "Before he cheats" conveys, her voice is pretty decent.

Mariah for her sheer vocal power and because of the immense amount of records she has sold...she was the biggest selling recording artist of the 1990's. That deserves the top nod from me on that alone. All of the other females listed probably hope to chart half of her sales one day.

Amy Lee. I am told she is really rude, but just listen to her sing. Close your eyes and become enveloped in her magnificent voice. She has a talent that is from heaven. Love her.

Not into any of them but I cant stand two of them.
Gwen Stefani because she dumped the band that got her were she is then changed her music to that crap she sings now and acts like she is from the hood.
And Avril Lavigne because the silly little crackhead and her loser boyfriend thought it was funny to spit lugi's on fans.

of the ones you listed, I'd pick Nelly Fertado (correct spelling) and Gwen Stefani as they are not as slutty or full of negative attitude as most of the others. I like their songs and their ska-type music better also.
