Hmm. I cry myself to sleep allot i would have to say maybe 3 nights a week. For the most part, I would say that i cry because of events in the past, that i am constantly reminded of in the present; its not always depressed thought that make me cry, sometimes, its as simple as remember a special holiday, or something about my childhood that holds a certain importance to me. I cannot lie though more than half of the time its usually depressing thoughts that make me leave puddles on my pillow. Kinda sad, but that's life i guess.

That is so sad....

Yes I have. I once was married to the most cold, hateful, inconsiderate, self centered and mean person in the world. I cried myself to sleep many times while married to him.
In contrast, I am married to Mr. Right now and we laugh ourselves to sleep just about every night. He's my sunshine.

If there are things in your life that make you so sad that you cry yourself to sleep a lot, then you need to talk to someone about it. You need to address your issues so that you can have a happy life and be happy.
If you are crying and you don't know why, then this is an indication of depression. This could be a chemical imbalance in your brain. You need to see a doctor to determine if medication is necessary.

I have experienced this because when my grandfather died I couldn't stop the tears and I even found myself crying when I'm asleep because I would wake up in the middle of the night and face and cheeks were wet and I just couldn't stop. It took me at least 1 week to get over this obsessive crying. So your not alone on this matter but if u feel like your gonna have another one of those nights then just let it happen because there's no way in holding back the tears.

I think at one time or another in a girls life, we find ourself crying ourselves to sleep. it will pass, just your hormones trying to balance themselves out. sometimes it helps to start a journal and write what you are feeling, that way, you have it out of your head.

I did at one point in time, but it's a futile effort. I just fall asleep to the snoring beside me and possibly the tv from time to time.
