I applied with a A- average five years ago and was rejected.
Furthermore, how did he get into grad school with that same average?

Food for thought.
"All men are created equal"
F*ck that. ALL MEN ARE EQUAL - regardless of wealth or family birthright.

He was A FIGHTER PILOT using the MOST LIBERAL OF definitions. He DID have training in a fighter plane, the F-102 But a "fighter pilot".MASTERS ALL PHASES OF HIS FLIGHT RESPONSIBILITIES. Seems that "W" had "serious problems LANDING THE PLANE. He had problems with "serial sobriety", definitely a "good thing" for a PILOT. He NEVER flew any sorties. He was DISQUALIFIED...grounded for failure to PASS PHYSICAL.

He GOT INTO YALE AND HARVARD AS A "LEGACY" ! Meaning, if a family member is a GRADUATE, then everyone in the family gets PREFERENTIAL CONSIDERATION, AD INFINITUM. Not just immediate family, BUT OBSCURE 4TH, 5TH, AND 6TH COUSINS...get in. It is nothing but AFFIRMATIVE ACTION for people who have NEVER BEEN DENIED.... ANYTHING.

Go Ahead, Make My Day! Say Something about "the total numbers".....A study by the American Association Of Colleges And Universities places the percentage of LEGACY ADMISSIONS at ALL of it's member schools (92% of USA) is sometimes as much as 10 to 15 PERCENT of a ENTERING FRESHMAN CLASS and that many of these LEGACIES don't even know each other. The designation ALONE WAS WORTH up to 300 points on the old 1600 point SAT that I took.. That's over 18 percent of a perfect score, GIVEN TO YOU because of some sexual daisy chain.

Didn't we have some Liberal politicians go there also? I recall one Bush adversary of actually having a lower score than Bush. Oh he was a bones boy also I believe. Jeez, I think even the premise of " Love Story" was based on another Ivy League Boy that ended up being an adversary of Bush. Bush beat them both. Yale or Harvard requires big money as well as grades. The average Joe is never going there. If both those schools were for the very best, we may have a scholastic problem. Alumni from both parties have attended but that doesnt make any of them any better.

Daddy = an A in high school and an easy pass to Yale, and an easy pass to becoming a fighter pilot.

Hey there PG,
Wow, I'd all but forgotten that Bush is a war hero, a fighter pilot no less. I'd love to hear about all his heroic fights over there in Vietnam. Got any examples?
