We are not the best in all departments of game and the moral values of all those involved in managing and selection is debatable. Same can be said about players- they do not always play as team for the country but play as individuals for own betterment.

If some player has crores of money, the motivation to do best is not there. So such players should not be selected to play since it is counter productive.

Like in any field, merely being talented and experienced, will not produce best result. Application of talent etc to the task in hand, when required, if that is not there, then team will not win.

Forget all the answers, the real cause is the fundamentals.

Look at the domestic structure & then look what's happening around the world. India & Pak has got wickets exactly opposite to what England, Australia or South Africa has got. Our players play exellent in home or alike conditions, but when the go to seeming wickets with swing, it takes a second to kill their confidence. We produce the best batsmen, spinners & fast bowlers but they are best on home soil or alike conditions & only above average outside (most of the time).
