I've noticed the USD is dropping dramatically against the PHP why is that?My family in the Philippines say the prices for goods have remained the same.

The dollar has been falling vs most world currencies not just the PHP and the PHP has not changed vs world. This should only effect the price of imports from the US. Check with your family and see if the price of US imports have changed.

Corrupt politicians use this extra money for themselves, they don't care about the poor Filipinos on rural areas. Instead of taking care of the Philippines they only care about becoming rich. If all the politicians of the Philippines care about their country more, Philippines would have been rich by now.
