No, I do not -- it is not good to say something that important when you don't mean it.
On the other hand, I also waited for a really long time to tell my bf I loved him, because I knew that I really did, but didn't want him to feel rushed in any way. That was a really neat experience, because one night as he was walking away from me as we parted, he turned and said "Love you". I ran to him and we held each other for the longest time, right there in the street.
It meant so much because it didn't come when we had barely met, it came when we truly did love each other and knew it.
Hmmmm... that gets me all sad just thinking about it. That was the best relationship I was ever in and it didn't work out after all...I guess love doesn't conquer all...
But I digress, the bottom line is, don't say it if you don't mean it!

When I was younger I did. I even ended up engaged once when I did not want to marry the guy, because I did not know how to tell him no after his beautiful proposal. I am older and wiser now. I ended up cheating on that guy with the man I married over eleven years ago. I never say things I don't mean anymore.

It depends on the situation. I try not to mess with things like that because people's feeling really end up getting hurt. So I would have to say no I dont say that unless or until I really do mean it. You can say you care about the person to be safe.

I don't throw those words around loosely so people know when I say it, I mean it, and it means I will do, help or be with that friend through good times and bad.

I am a firm believer in don't say it if you don't mean it. I apply this to most things in life. I am not one for apologising. So no, I have never said I LOVE YOU and not meant it.

Yes. I said it to my boyfriend after he said it to me. I felt that I had to spare his feelings and that I will feel a love for him sometime in the near future. I'm glad I said it to him at the time because I truly love him right now. :)

I don't, but I have retracted my love for someone bc/ I realized later on that it wasn't really love I was feeling. I don't have an acting bone in my body - I'm bland at times, but real.
