if she really wants him dead... why is she crying after that? and confused? is it possible that elizabeth likes jack even a little or vice versa? pls answer me because our dvd is so blurry and i cant hear it right.

She fools Jack by kissing him so he won't notice that she is tying him up to the boat. She does this to save herself and the rest of the crew because Davy Jones is only after Jack. So by tying him up, the Cracken (the big squid-like monster)will go to him (it's goal) and leave the rest of the crew alone.
I think she cries afterwords because she thinks that deep down, Jack is a good man, even though he is often selfish and full of malice. I really don't think she likes him romantically though.

I thought she did like him at first, but then i watched the 2 movies a couple more times and now i don't think so. she kissed him to distract him while she cuffed him. the only thing i wonder is about the look on her face when norrington said"i'dve given anything for you to look like that while thinking of me" and the way the compass pointed to him on the ship, and also how when he came back to help she grabbed and hugged onto his leg. i wish they'd get together but it's not going to happen. i can't wait to see if will says anything about that kiss he saw....i think he thinks she wants jack. she really is a dirty pirate though, planning to get him drunk and passed out so she could burn all the rum and set the island on fire and in the 2nd m ovie that whole," i just thought i'd be married by now, i'm so ready to be married"

She kissed him to trick him into submission so she could lock him up to let him die because she knew he was the one that Davy Jones was chasing, yet she cried over her actions as she obviously has feelings of affection (if not more) for Jack. Orlando Bloom's character keyed in on that and wonders what is going on with the woman he loves.
It is an interesting dichotomy of the situation and will likely be expanded upon in the third installment of the"Pirates" movie due out Memorial day.

cos the monster only follow jack sparrow.
he must be sacrifice for the safety of others.
she cry bcos she felt a lil bit guilty afterwards.

I don't remember the movie all because I saw it in theaters when it first came out. The previews for the third one shows her telling Jack "things would never work out between us" and him saying "don't be so sure". It seems to me that maybe she has fallen for the pirate?
