it has slowly demoralitized, the nation, it turns the most sophisticated being into a co2 converter, are people so nieve, that the meaning of life will not be on channel 141? do we eat the foul poison if the taste is good enough? is this the problem with self gratification? have i asked enough questions in this ??

T.V. like every thing else in the world can be used for good or Evil. There are many good things that can be learned from watching T.V. Many good programs that teach, pass information ect. and are good for the world. But there are also many, many things that are pointless and have no value at all not even as decent entertainment. These programs are when that little off switch comes in really handy!!

I think too much tv can warp your brain and make you sort of mindless, however, I watch a lot of the History channel, Discovery and National Geographic which are all places where I learn things. It's as easy as turning the channel or turning off the tv. Everyone has this decision to make. There are still some good, educational things on if you look for them.

Well they say art imitates life, and I tend to agree.
Not to mention that the worst poison can sometimes be ones own stench, the more you Fear knowing the reality of things the more evil has you confined to the deepest and darkest of the self. The media is not the enemy, if you see something bad in what you're being shown it's only a part of your own self you happen to be less aware of.

TV cannot be evil. It is an inanimate object. People can BEHAVE evil however. What americans watch, to take their minds off of the realities of the world is idiotic and stupid and unrealistic....but it is the fantasy world that most americans would like to believe is real. Sadly - the fantasy world is more attractive than the potential of the future world that awaits us.....in my opinion, anyway.

The TV is just a tool for the evil to get into your home. Most people do not even care what their children watch, so why are they suprised when the do what they learned from the television

This is why Americans love television and radio so much. With the completion of Hollywood Americans standard of living rose dramacticly, because Hollywood and Rock are luxuries. It keeps people happy, it keeps people singing. Have you wondered why American are complaining about war but are not exhausted by war. Citizens I mean. Are culture is dependant on these luxuries.

TV is stupid. Stupid does not necessarilly equal evil.
It just equals stupid.

If you are not stupid, what makes you think you are alone?
Tv is a reflection of popular society. An outlet, a joke.
It says nothing about reality, or the day to day lives of living people.
And everyone knows this. On some level.
Take it for what it is, and let yourself be entertained.

However, Television the medium is not evil, what has been done with it is. You know what they say, a candle can illuminate a chapel or a brothel.

You know I have found tv very educational,
everytime it comes on I go in the other room and read a book.
People dont realize they are just paying people to watch them have fun. They are doing what they wanna do and you're paying for it

MY SON SAYS IT'S NOTHING BUT EVIL!
He wont have on in the living room he wont tell his wife not to watch it but wont participate in viewing because he hats it so much!
