think about this, snape made the unbreakable vow with draco's mother right? and Draco's objective is to kill dumbledore, draco failed and snape stepped in because he had to from the unbreakable vow. So he dumbledore had to be killed or snape will die(if you break the vow you will die)

next thing is what did dumbledore mean when he said"please" before he was killed? Dumbledore by chance knew that snape made the unbreakable vow, so he had to be killed in order for snape to be free, dumbledore wants snape to be free and tells him to kill him. So snape is good, not bad.

if you want to comment about this go ahead.

The essay "I Trust Severus Snape" by Michele Nanjo does a good job of addressing the issues of Snape's character and the unbreakable vow. Dumbledore has never pleaded for his life, and has constantly said that there are things worse than death... why would a man with this mindset plead for his life?

Harry calls Snape a coward for killing Dumbledore, and Snape - who usually retaliates with sarcasm, with pride or with snide comments - screams at Harry in pain... in PAIN. If Snape WANTED to kill Dumbledore, why would he be in so much pain? What if Dumbledore, who pleads "Severus, please" before his death, is really pleading for Snape to take his life, to follow through with a plan that will keep Snape from breaking the Unbreakable Vow?

Just a chapter before, Harry was painfully forced to feed Dumbledore the agonizing potion... isn't it possible that Snape was forced to kill Dumbledore in a similar way?

I agree with this but you haven't taken it far enough. Dumbledore knew he was dieing, and and so did Snape (he helped Dumbledore after he destroyed the horcrux in the ring), so it was not by chance that he knew about the vow, rather, he allowed it.

I was baffled when Snape killed Dumbledore. I think Dumbledore said "please" because he knew he was going to be killed and didn't want to be. As a kind of pleading for his life, that was my interpetation of it. I am still confused as to why Snape stepped in and killed Dumbledore. I would think that the good side would outweigh the bad, unless he didn't want to expose himself.
