Perhaps a nice pair of welding goggles during the day , at night I'm sure you could see in pitch blackness without glasses .

test yourself.
get a book see from how far away u can read the hopefully 12 point font.
if u can see from more than 3 feet than ur ok, if u can only see from 1/2 a foot, see your optometrist to check more thoroughly.
