A 24 episode season two for Heroes has been confirmed, along with a 6 episode "Origins" with side storylines

If you noticed the end of the show, you would see that it stated "Volume Two - Generations"
Then the clip with Hiro in the past.
THEN you would notice the "to be continued" part
So yes there will be a season two... or in this case Volume two.

Yes, it's coming back with 24 full episodes. Also, they're running 6 In-between style episodes that have to deal with side stories.
