She seems to be a truthful, straightforward, person with a very big heart. Anyone with the same qualities will miss her. Those who consider chaos, lies, and animosity as entertainment will not.

I used to enjoy Rosie's old talk show, but then I got sick of the same type of humor - over and over again. Still, I didn't think her show was bad.
I don't usually watch The View, but I have. I just think she has thrown off the balance of things, and she's too much. There are more informed, educated and or experienced people I look to to be informed.
I don't think she's "anti-American". I just think she's a crude person who has, at times, said things about how she raises her children that makes the viewer think she's a little "off". She was proud to say how she shocked the "proper" mother and father of her "friend" when she told them she and her "friend" were in a relationship. There's a meanness to her that may come from either having no mother, having a certain type of father, being raised in a certain type of neighborhood, or else from being as unattractive as she is.
Her ideas about the war or the troops are, I think the least of her problems when it comes to her not being liked by a lot of people. I wish she'd go raise her kids and get her face off the television completely.

I will miss seeing her on the View, but I'm sure she will be off to bigger and better things for her life.
I don't always agree with everything she says or how she says it, but that's what makes her human! You look at most "entertainers" and they're all nothing but talking heads, but Rosie just lets it all hang out. I LOVE that!
She's a passionate person who wears her heart on her sleeve and I for one appreciate her speaking the truth of her life and making more people aware of what's going on around the world.
I watched the View before she came on and this year has definently been the most interesting. I hope they can get Roseanne Barr to take her place or Whoopi.
And for anyone who wants to see more of Rosie and her opinions, you can go to rosie.com.
Peace! :)

I liked the class that Meredith brought to the show instead of the abrasive ways of Rosie. I'm not so sure Rosie is as smart about politics as she thinks she is. She is right about somethings but wrong about others. I would like to see some sophistication come back to this show.

no matter what most of you think, rosie kept the view on the air and in the top of the ratings.she may be controversial but she has every right to speak her mind.just think if rosie was never on the view would we even be talking about the show.it would have been canceled.

I watch the Veiw daily, and though I think Rosie brought some good to the show, I also think she has changed alot and not in a good way.
She goes out of her way to put down everyone but Barbara on the show and shows no remorse for doing it.
She has become too pushy and irreversable in her thoughts wether right or wrong.
I used to love Rosie, and no, it has nothing to do with her sexual choices. I have no problem with lesbians/gay. I really love Ellen and she is a bit more pronounced in her sexual orientation.
Rosie has just changed quite a bit, and for me, I don't like it.
I wish she was the sweet woman who talked of her kids again. She really seemed like a great person. Now, I have to physically control myself not to turn the channel when I see her on tv.

I will. I only started to watch the view regularly after Rosie came on board. Rosie is good because she does care about the fans. Look at all the giveaways. Did the view do that before Rosie?
Anyways, Rosie speaks her mind and isn't afraid to argue about any cause. She doesn't care what others have to say and it is nice to see someone speak their mind and not fall into line like everyone else.

I do not watch the show. In fact, if I had when she was hired, I probably would have stopped. She is a wack job. I used to like her, but the more I found out about her, the less I liked her until now I can't stand her. It has absolutely nothing to do with her homosexuality or her view of the war. It's her big, vulgar mouth and totally bizarre actions.

i will miss her like a migraine. don't watch the show, and a lot of it has to do with her. rosie is pompous and overbearing. heaven forbid you don't jump on her bandwagon because she cuts you off before you can finish your opposing opinion, then she berates and insults you. her attitude and voice is grating as well. good riddance. i look forward to a nice long hiatus from her hackneyed act. what scares me is i keep hearing kathy griffin's name as a replacement. hopefully it is only speculation

Rosie O'Donnell is a hypocrite. She rails for gun control and yet her bodyguards are armed.I have never seen someone who hates herself as much as she does. How can anyone be so miserable. She is another liberal who says do as I say but not as I do.Yes I've tried watching it and she just makes me sick. Why are her opinions more valid than yours or mine.In this life she is totally and utterly irrelevant. Goodbye and good ridden.
