I love it there. Go to the "Smoke tree stables" off of Toledo and Palm Canyon drive for some horse back riding. Or rent some bicycles and ride all over town. There is the Palm Springs aerial tram on the edge of town. Always a great view. It takes you up to Mt. San Jacinto, (if I remember correctly) It could be 120 degrees there in Palm Springs, and it can drop way down low by the time the tram gets to the top.

I've stayed often in the past at Best Western Motel with a
pool & jaccuzzi to dine at nice restaurants and dance in nice clubs. I did not go to Zelda's with long line to get in. In the
day, I took the aerial tram ride in January, a cold scary thing
to do! The wind gusts make it sway like the cable will snap.
There's a restaurant at the top & restrooms with a great view
of San Gorgonio Mtn. & the desert valley. Bob Hope's home
is still at the top of a high hill, round as can be. Best memory
was a weekend date for my sis-in-law & I. A cabinet maker
went nuts over the doll, and a rancher, single 14 yrs, just wanted me to stay and never go back where I came from.
We 4 met dancing, went to breakfast, and next day met at
the cabinet maker's condo for steak dinner, wine & lots of
fun in jaccuzi & the pool outback, no others around. When single, don't go there and settle for less hospitality in July.

I Love P.S.!!!!! Great tennis, great shopping, the tram, mmmm...the restaurants, pubs, just sight seeing & walking are so fun there. Plus the weather is to die for all year round! Once you go , you will be hooked, like me. I went there for high school tennis back in the 80's & I still go back there as much as I can!! Love it!! You will, too !!!!!

go there once a year for training. it gets really hot in the summer. 110 to 115 degrees. make sure your car AC works.

all the time. mixture of people, really hot with no breeze, relaxing.
