Now as an adult men hit on me for the sole reason that I am a red head. Why did the make fun of me when I was little and not that I am a woman want to take me to bed? Any other red heads have this problem?

I always have loved red heads. I had a crush on a red head in kindergarten. I even got into fights over her. Alas, she told me her mother told her to wait until after she was out of college before she could get married. That is a true story, and not some of my usual silly stuff I post. I never have changed either. For me, it has nothing to do with the "fire" thing my fellow answerer mentioned previously. It's just a preference for light skin, freckles, beautiful red hair. I may even revise my previous remarks a bit to say the fire is there, but it is in the smile. I have never known a red head without a beautiful smile. Just the thought of a redhead has changed me into a big cheeseball. I had better quit now before I ruin my reputation!

A lot of people, red head or not, were shunned or picked on in school, only to grow up and be sought after. Life is weird like that.

Just enjoy your new found fame and be selective.

You are in control for a change, take advantage of the situation.

Oh, and by the way, red heads are beautiful.

I have red hair, but I never really got made fun of, but I think it's worse for girls. My sister had a hard time.

Yes I am red head as well. The guys that I work with (I learned this recently) say that it means, "Red on the head. . . .fire in the hole." I suppose they think we are wild lovers or something.

This isn't really a problem for you, is it? As for men, a lot of them will hit on anything with a pulse--regardless of hair color.

I'm not a redhead, but have witnessed your experience myself. The redheads get the attention. Blondes, eat your heart out.
