I think being kind and helpful is rather different from being a leader. I don't think she was particularly happy being a royal consort, and I don't think she really liked the job. She wsa good at being nice to people and taking an interest in them, but I don't think she really wanted to be a leader. She probably did not fully realise, before she married Charles, what a demanding role it would be. And of course the fact that he was in love with someone else didn't make her life any easier. I think really she would have been happier if she could have just led the ordinary life of a girl of her class. married someone who was an aristocrat or just a rich non-aristocrat (like Dodi al Fayed for example). had some children. Done some charity work. The life of awful pressure and constant public exposure of being a princess was not for her.

She wasn't really a leader at all, at least not in the usual sense of the word. She became famous because she dated and later married the heir to the throne of the United Kingdom.

I'm not sure leadership was so much a trait or hers as was the ability to inspire leadership in others. Her infectious attitude about making people feel good about themselves and feel like they were worthy of something good is what made her an enabler. She became famous simply by marrying a prince and being beautiful.

She wasn't really a leader.... she was more of a humanitarian who visited poor counrtries in Africa and elsewhere. She became, of course, by marrying Prince Charles in the 1980s and became a princess. Later on, they divorced in the 1990s.

I don't know if she was a good leader or not. She was destined to be Queen Mum one day. I think she became famous because Prince Chuck was such a catch.
