Worst President Ever? Half the people here only go back about 3 or 4 presidents, how could they say? In my time Jimmy was by far the worst. Nearly 20% interest rates, runaway inflation, long lines at the gas station, 55 mph speed limits, high unemployment rates, gave away the Panama Canal, left hostages in Iran for over a year until Reagan freed them. Libs can whine all day long, it won't change the fact that voters realized electing him was a monumental mistake and bounced him out first chance they got.

Jimmy Carter did not do harm to our country like Bush has. He wasn't responsible for upwards of 3/4 million people getting killed like Bush is. We had true allies under Carter unlike now when we have to pay countries to side with us and promise to bomb them if they don't agree with our illegal, immoral war like Bush does. The whole world hates us because of Bush and his war mongering,and war profiteering. Bush thinks every country should follow the United Nations Resolutions except the USA. Bush is the worst president ever, hands down.

Jimmy Carter retracted his statement because it was posted out of context. He was comparing Bush's international policy to Richard Nixons. Saying that Nixons was better and that Bush and the administration isnt the worst in US History

Jimmy Carter was President. He knows what the office requires. And he's absolutely right to say that Bush is the worst President ever. Bush is, and will always be, an embarrassment to the United States of America.

Anyone who would say that Bush is a good president, instantly looses all credibility. Anyone who would make that evaluation...can't be trusted to evaluate anything at all.

I am going to say Warren G. Harding, or maybe Ford (who in his right mind would pardon Nixon?). Of course, Reagan's training of Bin Laden, his relationship with Saddam Hussein, and his funding of the Contras sure puts him in the running, despite what the Reagan worshipers may say. And I'm 27 (although I don't know what that has to do with anything).
