He's definitely attractive enough for the role, but he'd across as too confident. The thing that makes Tobey Maguire perfect for the role of Peter Parker is that he has a boyish, innocently insecure charm that comes across the screen. You'd need someone else that can exude that.

he would make a pretty good spiderman, but his reputation is a little too hardcore. plus, the announcement of spiderman 4 means nothing. james franco is done with, maguire has said no, and kirsten dunst says shell only do it if sam raimi (the director) does it and hes already said no. trust me on this: sony cant make spiderman 4 without them.
