I want to start a Lee's Sandwiches franchise up here in MN, where I live, but I need one million dollars. No, it doesn't take one million to start it! They just need to know I am serious about it, so the money requirement is high for that reason. This is as good as money, I assure you. Would you like to invest?

Not many businesses you can acquire for 2.5 - 3 million....maybe if you're lucky, you could be a franchisee.

But you've stated that you want a business with little work and alot of profit. If you think you can just buy a business, do a little work, and expect a huge profit, you're business is going to be closed within a year, guaranteed. Owning a business is a job where you have to work, and work hard, to ensure success and profit.

If you have $2-3 million and don't want to do much work, why even buy a business when you can just invest the money instead?

Buy some land and farm corn and sugar beets for ethanol production, who knows you might triple your money in a few years.
